SACD is currently working with families in an Individual Development Account (IDA) program. IDA's are matched savings accounts that helps low income families save money to use toward homeownership, education, and job training. Your savings are matched AT LEAST $1 for $1. The program is designed to help you and your family achieve your goals.
Individual Development Accounts
Each participant of the IDA program is offered Money Smart classes designed to teach families how to save money, how to repair credit, and how to manage money. The classes are conducted in English and Spanish.
The programs offered by SACD help families learn to help themselves and to become part of the community. You learn the value of money and how to save through the financial literacy programs. We encourage the continuation of savings even after you successfully complete your IDA. SACD will help you build knowledge, security, and confidence for a better future.
